A center built by someone who teaches in it.
I started teaching because the lessons I sat through as a student were about textbooks, not about talking. Ten minutes of speaking in an hour is not a language class, it is a reading class with extra steps.
So the center is built the other way round. Groups cap at eight, pair work keeps every student speaking in every lesson, and corrections come at the end so nobody is stopped mid sentence and loses their nerve.
We teach on screens everywhere, and we are building a room in Koksayek, with the same teachers and the same syllabus in both, because where you sit should not change what you learn.

What we hold to
Speaking is the lesson
Not the reward at the end of the grammar. The lesson is built around talking, and the grammar arrives inside it.
Eight students, not twenty
Above eight, pair work stops covering for the class size and someone goes quiet for the whole lesson. We would rather run another group than fill a bigger one.
The same teacher every week
Progress comes from someone who remembers what you got wrong last Tuesday. No rotating pool.
We say what we cannot do
If your goal needs more time than we can give it, we say so in the trial lesson rather than after the first invoice.
Qualifications
Teaching certificates, exam preparation training and the countries we have taught in are listed here, with scans of each certificate.
Certificate scans are being collected and will be published on this page before the first term.
